International Support Group is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Invoices / Pay applications (including notarized releases of lien)
- Manage subcontractor insurance certificates and payables.
- Manage BD Construction insurance certificates
- Coordinate paperwork with clients, building departments, vendors
- Manage payroll, payroll reporting.
- Bank / Credit card reconciliation
- Prepare quarterly financial statements.
- Coordinate Year-end financials/tax filings with CPA
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be a great team player
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with Outlook (for email) and Excel
- Proficient with QuickBooks – additional software exposure would be an added advantage
- Costpoint experience a plus
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least three years accounting and financial experience
Other Requirements:
Must be able to pass background and drug test screenings.
