Summary – basic function of the role


We are seeking a junior Web Developer for the digital marketing team. This position will be tasked with re-building and enhancing various marketing and e-commerce websites on a single web content management platform (Oracle Commerce Cloud). The position is responsible for executing web development related activities, as well as assisting in the development and maturation of Enerpac’s digital strategy. You will need to understand key business and sales objectives. You will be working closely with the marketing and sales teams to build applications which will assist and improve the sales process.

Shift:
Monday – Friday, hybrid in office schedule

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using React.
  • Integrate websites with other external applications.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining API Configurations.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and functionality.
  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or testing.

Skills and Competencies

  • Previous experience creating or maintaining the interfaces between multiple systems is a plus.
  • Expertise with: CSS, HTML, REACT
  • Familiar with:
    • Javascript, Jquery, Knockout
    • JSON
    • RequireJS, NodeJS, Boostrap
    • API configuration
    • Mobile app development
    • E-commerce development
    • Bootstrap
  • Project management skills
  • Strong execution, organization and business presentation skills
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills in an international business environment

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 2+ years of web development experience

Physical Demands

Employee may have to lift documents/work materials up to 30 pounds in weight. Employee will have to be able to walk/climb to a variety of primary work locations, including traveling by air/auto to remote sites. This can include occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. Employee will need to listen, understand, and speak with team members in person, telephonically, and electronically at all levels within a diverse workforce and with supported organizations. Employee can work in front of a personal computer and telephone for long periods of time. Will have repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

Work Environment


Primary work environment is temperature-controlled office setting, but may also include typical warehouse environment on occasion, where following appropriate safety protocols at the location would be required. Employee will be exposed to low levels of noise in an office. Employee will be expected to be able to make repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers on a constant basis for typing purposes.
