About the Role:
As the Jr. MacOS Systems Administrator & Desktop Support, you will be tasked with maintaining the flow of day-to-day IT operations. The candidate should have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be highly organized with the ability to focus and prioritize. This role will be based out of our San Diego, CA site.
Primary Responsibilities:
Helpdesk Support (40%)
- Provide ongoing first helpdesk support and ticket triage, including problem troubleshooting, user support, ticket creation, management, and follow-up.
- Create new, remove, and perform maintenance on all user accounts.
- Provision and prepare new employee hardware procurement, shipping, and tracking.
- Identify, document, and maintain process and software documentation.
- Support and administering computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware and configurations includes, but is not limited to, PCs, macOS, smartphones, Google Suite, Zoom, Office 365, DocuSign, Box, Smartsheet, and Slack.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, computer information systems, etc., or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong customer-service orientation and deep sense of urgency.
- Familiarity with Google Suite Administration.
- Knowledge of identity, access concepts and technologies to secure production and corporate access, such as SSO and SAML.
- Excellent documentation skills to help add to our growing knowledge base.
- Setup, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of client, Windows PC, Macintosh macOS hardware and iOS.
- Familiarity with business technology peripherals such as copiers, printers, scanners, iPhone, etc.
- Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP networking: DNS, DHCP, subnets, IP addressing.
- Reliable form of Transportation (this role will be an onsite role at our San Diego, CA site)
- Familiarity with HIPAA
- Understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) : Policies, Software Deployment, Apple DEP, Apple VPP, and Asset Management.
- Must be an excellent technical problem solver
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities
- Must be thorough and attentive to details
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 2-5 years of experience in information technology
