Jr. Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Development and review of construction drawings, specifications, and calculations

for new and existing cell sites

• Perform site inspections and condition assessments on existing sites and on projects

under construction

• Prepare design calculations for various structural elements including foundations,

retaining walls, structural steel members columns and beams as well as reinforced concrete elements

• Prepare sketches and be able to draw using AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Prepare structural analysis models using Risa software
• Conduct field inspections and condition assessments and prepare reports
• Write structural reports and letters

Projects including, but not limited to:

• Shoring & Bracing
• Structural Stability
• Demolition Means & Methods
• Emergency Stabilization & Make-Safe Plans
• Forensic Engineering
• Adjoining Property Protection and Monitoring
• Property Condition Assessments
• Formwork and Shoring for Concrete Construction

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering science required, concentration in civil/structural recommended
• Capable of developing drawings in REVIT, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
• Knowledge of building envelope structural components
• Knowledge of construction drawing standards
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Ability to perform inspections of sites and other structures, both visually and with instruments
• Ability to read construction drawings, diagrams, printed materials and computer screens
• Ability to record data clearly and write passages for reports, letters, etc.
• Ability to drive and safely operate a motor vehicle
