Job Description
Responsibilities
- Project Management: Lead and manage Civil Engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Design and Analysis: Perform engineering analysis, design calculations, and preparation of construction documents for various Civil Engineering projects, including site development, transportation, and infrastructure.
- Regulatory Compliance: Navigate local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes to secure approvals and ensure compliance with environmental, zoning, and safety requirements.
- Client Interaction: Establish and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication, project updates, and addressing client concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, surveyors, and other engineers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project objectives and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License: Must hold a valid Professional Engineer license in the state of New Jersey or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hire.
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of Civil Engineering experience, preferably in site development, land planning, or transportation projects.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software. Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to clients and team members effectively.
