Right now, we're growing fast! We're seeking a Junior Accountant to support our Finance Team. This is a fast-paced position, designed to develop your skill sets and provide growth opportunities!

SUMMARY

As the Junior Accountant, you will work with the VP Finance and the Sr. Accountant to ensure accurate accounting and reporting across three high growth corporate divisions. Strong communication skills are required to enable the Junior Accountant to effectively communicate with various departmental staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/OBJECTIVES:

• Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts each month. Initiate corrective actions where necessary.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts against amounts invoiced in the ERP (Sage 100)
• Enter accounts payable invoices and perform the weekly accounts payable check run
• Invoice referral partners and track customer activity to make sure accounts are current
• Assist with the annual audit by gathering necessary information and documents as requested by the external auditors
• Assist with the monthly closing process
• Process and code the monthly corporate credit cards
• Maintain knowledge of GAAP
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• $45,000 to $48,000 a Year
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Knowledge of general finance and accounting
• Excellent computer skills, including, CRM, accounting software, Excel, and Word
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
