We are currently looking for a Journeyman Pipefitter with 6 Years' Experience!


QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintain valid City of Phoenix Journeyman License (where applicable

Furnish and maintain all personal tools as required per CSUSASW Employee Manual.

Must have a minimum of 6 years commercial HVAC piping experience.

Maintain thorough industry knowledge and keep abreast of changes and advances in HVAC
piping systems and technology

Demonstrates mastery. Displays exceptionally high level of productivity, quality results. Provides
independent decisions, creative and viable alternatives. Little to no supervision required. Independent
decision making.


BASIC DUTIES:
Display a thorough understanding of HVAC piping principles / systems and the relevant codes
and industry standards that govern their installation.
Effectively install, replace, retrofit, and perform work of a technical nature on all HVAC
piping systems.
Ensure compliance with all CSUSASW Policies and Procedures.


SAFETY:
Actively comply with the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and
procedures.

CUSTOMER DELIGHT:
Conducts self in a manner conducive to good relationships with customers and other staff as
well as ensure that a professional standard of presentation and performance is maintained.
Proactively address customer complaints and demonstrate competence in establishing
relationships with internal and external customers.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES:
Effectively manage administrative requirements as assigned i.e. weekly time card, safety tool
box talks, safety reports, MSDS sheets, Etc. in a professional and timely manner.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as (but not limited to) safety rules, installation
and operating manuals, design drawings, policies and procedures, or any other related
documents. Ability to legibly write and fill out all documents.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area,
circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to
read charts, graphs, tables, and schematics as it relates to HVAC piping -oriented matters.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense and basic understanding in order to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several
concrete variables in standardized situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving
mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat or cold conditions, risk of electrical
shock, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, high or precarious locations, and loud noises.
Must work well under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
Must demonstrate cooperative behavior with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use
hands & fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel,
crouch, crawl, talk, hear, or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or
smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to at least 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include ability to adjust and focus.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
Ensure 100% completion of all assigned projects at or below estimated man-hours.
100% compliance with the CSUSASW "Appearance Policy".
Assure all documentation required is complete and legible.
100% compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
100% compliance with CSUSASW personal tool policies and procedures.
The incumbent shall work well under pressure; meet multiple and sometimes competing
deadlines. The incumbent shall at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues
and supervisors.
