HX5 is currently seeking an Operational Test Program Analyst to join our team in Niceville, Florida at Eglin Airforce Base in support of the 605th Test and Evaluation Squadron.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Advise and assist by supporting the development and implementation of JEMSO system T&E projects.
- T&E activities include but are not limited to draft test plans and reports, test concept, design, and methodology development; test planning; test instrumentation; test execution and data collection; test data reduction and analysis; assist in the development of test reports and test briefings.
- Interfacing with warfighter expertise across the Theater Air Control System (TACS), Intelligence Systems, tactical air control party operations (TACP), JEMSO and SIGINT ground operations as tasked.
- Support shall focus on, but not be limited to, test and evaluation of the following: JEMSO architectures, such as distributed ground command and control (C2) electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) Survivability, Air Force Special Warfare (AFSW) C2 Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) agile combat employment (ACE) and AFSW Distributed Ground C2 Support to Long Range Kill Chain.
- Advise and assist by providing technical and engineering support to government program managers/engineers/analysts responsible for multiple JEMSO and tactical signals intelligence (SIGINT) operations.
- Observing contractor/development testing and conducting operational testing during various test events per year.
- SIGINT systems expertise and functional expertise in testing JEMSO systems and TACP systems.
- Support shall include assisting in the development and updates of the following: Integrated Test Team (ITT) charters, Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD); Capabilities Development Documents (CDD); Capabilities Production Documents (CPD); Operational Requirements Documents (ORD); Analysis of Alternatives (AoA); Program Management Directives (PMD); Test and Evaluation Strategies (TES); Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP); Concepts of Employment (CONEMP) and Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and operational manuals and handbooks.
- Support in developing configuration management policies, plans, procedures, and evaluations for TACP, JEMSO and SIGINT ground operations.
- Advise and assist in the development of plans to overcome any test shortfalls that may be encountered in the course of test planning. This may include developing software to collect, reduce, and analyze data; documenting the requirement for systems needed to perform tests; and installing and integrating these systems. Per PM direction, the contractor may be tasked to support as Test Director for operational test on a situational and/or case by case basis.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance prior to date of hire.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a tactical ground SIGINT operations and or JEMSO SME required.
- Must be able to climb or hike terrain to achieve higher Line of Sight capability for radio antennas and follow operators to hide
site or Observation Point (OP). - Must be able to wear government furnished equipment (body armor with plates, military style helmet, and uniform) to support testing on live bombing range.
Other Position Requirements:
- Must be willing to work in conditions that require sporadic physical activity. There will be some walking, bending, and carrying radios weighing up to 35lbs and/or requiring a two-person lift.
- Must be able to sustain long hours (approximately 12 hours) in adverse weather and/or military field conditions to capture quantitative/qualitative data for test or evaluation.
- Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time. (This may include air travel)
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must have the ability to obtain a US Top Secret/SCI SSBI within six months of hire.
