Form of workGENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Part-Time, Janitor Lead acts as lead crew member and is responsible for performing custodial services in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. Will perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities within the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments. Will help ensure that all schedules and administrative tasks assigned by Janitorial management are completed.
Job Duties Overview: Basic janitorial consisting of: Sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms and kitchen messes. Performing detail work when necessary. Emptying and removing trash.
Washing windows, doors and other glass surfaces. Floor care duties including, but not limited to; carpet cleaning and extraction, strip and wax and spray and buff. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency and the ability to train personnel on all pieces of floor care equipment.
Assist with the training and evaluating of new personnel Perform duties in the field independently, without supervision, either leading a crew in various tasks or by themselves to ensure contract compliance. Assist the supervisor in scheduling and administrative duties as needed. Assist with the issuing of keys and vehicle logs.
Assist with gathering information for and input of daily Janitorial reports.
