AddressGeneral Responsibilities:
A lead leads, monitors, and supervises a set of employees directly beneath them and reports their performance to their manager. The lead is expected to perform janitorial and cleanroom duties. The lead motivates and inspires the team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of the team, and demonstrates flexibility.
Specific Duties / Essential Functions:
- Directly oversees a team on a day-to-day basis.
- Direct activities of all personnel assigned assuring all maintenance is completed in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring work is performed within company safety guidelines.
- Train personnel.
- Perform inspections and communicate all findings to the appropriate manager assigned.
- Ensures that personnel are using proper/appropriate cleaning products and tools.
- Ensures that personnel are following dress code guidelines.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to all emergencies.
- Assist staff with janitorial and cleanroom duties, as needed.
- Submits supply inventory to the manager.
- Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Previous LEAD/Supervisory role, preferred.
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization and complete an I9 and e Verify process.
- English speaking, reading, and writing is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues
Work Environment:
Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift 35 lbs, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum, as needed.
