In this position you will be responsible for supporting IT and CAD infrastructure for a team of approximately 30 IC design engineers. A successful candidate will excel at collaborating in a fast-paced team, supporting CAD tool environment and foundry Process Design Kit (PDK) for our cutting-edge image sensor ReadOut Integrated Circuits (ROIC). This position is located in Goleta, CA. Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.

Required Skills:
- At least 2 years relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills to interface with IC design team members and tool vendors to solve problems as they arise
- Must work well in a team environment
- Linux system administration
- Experience developing and maintaining scripts for system administration, design and verification tasks
- Linux scripting such as PERL
- Experience in at least two of the following tools: Cadence Tools, Virtuouso or Encounter
- Cadence SKILL programming
- Mentor Calibre
- Cliosoft
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations
Desired Skills:
- Experience with revision control systems
- Experience with a distributed computing environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor support (CAD tools)
- CMOS layout exoperience
- Mixed signal design experience
- Experience with a digital tool flow, like Synopsys Design Compiler, or Cadence Encounter
- Experience with simulators like Spice, Spectre
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor's degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field
- May consider a Master's degree with a STEM degree in lieu of experience
