Sentinel is looking for a Senior IT Technician to assist our client. The ideal candidate would be well rounded technically. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the company's technology infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently. This is a contract to hire or direct hire position. There will be occasional travel to Indiana and this role will be reporting onsite to our client site in Bensenville, IL.

Sentinel is looking for a Senior IT Technician to assist our client. The ideal candidate would be well rounded technically. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the company's technology infrastructure operates smoothly and efficiently. This is a contract to hire or direct hire position. There will be occasional travel to Indiana and this role will be reporting onsite to our client site in Bensenville, IL.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in similar role
- Experience with HP is preferred
- Familiar with Active Directory and 365
- Experience with mounting access points, and security cameras
- Experience with routers, switches and firewalls
- Position requires lifting of up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
- Position requires standing, squatting, climbing, and lifting from floor to waist and from waist to over shoulders
- Position requires the carrying and use of ladders in addition to twisting, bending, crawling and entering attics or crawl spaces are required on a consistent basis
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
