IT Technician- Mid Level

Michigan Healthcare Professionals IT Department is looking for a Mid LevelIT Technician. The position is full time based around a 9-5 Monday thru Friday schedule.

Your job would be to provide technology assistance and training to physicians, managers, and staff both onsite and remotely at medical offices. Job duties would include the following: Install, configure, and upgrade computers, phones, network hardware, software, and accessories. You would also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT problems both onsite and offsite using remote access software.

You would start your days at our headquarters in Farmington Hills and either work remotely from there or be dispatched to one of our office locations. Normal workdays are Monday thru Friday 9am to 5pm. Our offices are all in metro Detroit, so no long-distance travel is required. Just short local trips.

The job is fun and fast paced! You will learn a ton of IT skills in a very short amount of time. Days will be busy, so they go by fast! You will be a part of a great group of likeminded knowledgeable IT professionals. Come join the team!

Job requirements

The ideal candidate would possess strong customer service skills with a passion for computers and technology. Good communication, listening and teaching skills are also a must!

1 to 2 years of formal IT work experience is required.

Must have working knowledge of current computer hardware, software, and operating systems.

Knowledge of network equipment and setup is a plus.

Employees must maintain reliable transportation. We do not provide company vehicles so you would need to drive your vehicle between office locations. A car allowance is provided to cover vehicle expenses.

Position is Full-time – Monday through Friday, some weekends may be required.

Headquarters in the Farmington Hills, Michigan. Will support offices in metro Detroit.
