Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non-profit organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide range of services that include family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental, radiology and integrated behavioral health. We also offer supportive services such as case management, health education and benefits enrollment.
What will you do?
Responsible for providing technical assistance, support and set-up related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to requests, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Supports staff in working with the different Systems, maintaining documentation, helpdesk support for Windows Desktops, Microsoft Software, IP Phones, and peripheral IT equipment. Also creates Windows and Exchange accounts and maintains the IT equipment inventory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, either in person or over the phone.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software includes using imaging software to back up and restore desktop computer images.
- Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license needed for local travel between sites.
- Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a minimum of 1-year of experience working in a Windows environment or Certificates issued by an IT training facility, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or an equivalent combination of education and training. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the information technology field. Must be able to interpret instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and work under immediate supervision.
