Current vacancy is with Tulare County Information & Communications Technology Department located in Visalia.
Equivalency for Education: Job-related experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in systems design/development, systems maintenance, and systems documentation including one (1) year experience as a lead or supervisor is desirable.
Knowledge of:
Various report writing and analytic software packages. Computer systems and their capabilities. Principles, capabilities, and limitations of information and communication technology systems. Various types of software programs such as word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. Modern office methods, forms, and equipment.
Management information systems and terminology. Math is sufficient to develop budgets, analyze costs, and to perform statistical analysis of data gathered. Research and report writing methods. Knowledge of supervisory techniques.

Work and communicate effectively with people of various education and socioeconomic backgrounds by respecting beliefs, interpersonal styles and behaviors of both clients and co-workers. Operate contemporary office equipment inclusive of computer, keyboard, and all applicable electronic equipment. Apply the principles and techniques of system/data analysis, administration, and management analysis to the gathering, organizing and interpretation of data. Lead and review the work of employees. Prepare clear, concise reports, instructions and procedures using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Write reports. Read and understand technical material such as computer manuals. Possession of, or the ability to obtain an appropriate, valid California driver's license.
