We are currently looking for an experienced IT Systems Administrator for our Weiler Labeling Systems brand based in Moorestown, New Jersey. In this role, the successful candidate will support the daily operations and maintenance of computer networks, infrastructures, system hardware, and software. At WLS, we work together to provide innovative, reliable labeling systems to customers in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage and personal care sectors.

- Maintain computer infrastructures with the emphasis on local and wide area networks
- Support the daily operations of computer networks throughout the organization
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade networks and servers
- Perform system data backups and implement recovery plans
- Set-up and configure office equipment (printers, scanners, phones, etc.) as necessary
- Install new hardware, manage on-site servers and software-network interactions
- Maintain and support computer network protocols systems: including VPNs, routers, switches, and other network devices
- Review network activities to make sure everything is working properly throughout the organization
- Oversee digital security and perform maintenance to ensure that the systems are secured and operating at full capacity
- Support the IT department in the update of cyber security measures
- Coordinate installation jobs as required by the IT department and organization
- Assess, perform, maintain, and resolve the organization’s network and computer system needs
- Collect and analyze data to optimize network performance
- Set-up user accounts, permissions, and passwords to the network
- Train users on hardware and software as necessary
- Understand and define network policies and procedures
- Install and integrate any new server hardware, software, and applications to maintain data storage and communication up to date
- Troubleshoot performance issues and outages with systems
- Coordinate with related team/department and external partners to ensure systems are functioning efficiently
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices
- Ensure that assigned IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- 3+ years of IT experience in a fast-paced industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field preferred
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and administration
- Computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware
- Strong knowledge of application transport, network device troubleshooting, and network infrastructure protocols
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including server, office, and exchange
- Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources
- Experienced working with remote desktop services administration
- Strong knowledge of day-to-day IT functions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and project management skills
- Experience with databases and database storage systems
- Strong knowledge in computer hardware, wireless technology applications, interface, and IT security
- Strong knowledge of the industry’s best practices and technical management
