Position Overview
The IT System Administrator supports the various technology related projects throughout the company, as delegated by the Director of Information Technology. This position has no direct reports. As part of a small but dynamic IT Team, your responsibilities may include:
- Manage and maintain all infrastructure systems including on-prem servers and cloud-based Azure platform
- Manage and maintain Cisco router, switch, and firewall infrastructure
- Provide support for other enterprise software used by USM including by not limited to SalesForce, Sage, Procurify, Concur, and fit-for-industry ERP application Shared Logic RIMAS.
- Maintains wireless infrastructure for all USM locations
- Performs Level 3 help desk support
- Assists with special projects and/or other duties as assigned
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of IT experience
- Cisco or Microsoft Certification
- Ability to take initiative, drive change, and lead by example
- Demonstrated experience performing the responsibilities of the role
- Ability to effectively coach, guide, and teach team members IT related processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to drive core objectives to completion
