We are an IT support firm seeking an IT Support Technician/admin to work full-time in a hybrid scenario (50% remote, 50% onsite). The onsite location is Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities will include:
*Administration and troubleshooting of Windows-based devices
*Administration of Microsoft 365 / Office 365:
-Setup and management
-Application installation and troubleshooting
-Device management with Intune / Endpoint Manager
-SharePoint and OneDrive administration
*Network setup and troubleshooting:
-Basic switch administration (setup, VLANs, etc.)
-Router/firewall setup and administration
-Wi-Fi access point installation and setup
*Be able to provide one-on-one training/assistance for users who need instruction
*Be comfortable contacting and working with multiple vendors to resolve technical issues
*Be able to manage user accounts and policies across multiple systems (Azure AD, LoB-specific)
*Managing and responding to tickets via ZenDesk
More about the job:
This position is located onsite at our clients office in Orlando and you are expected to be onsite 1-2 days a month. You will work within in a team of IT professionals that are responsible for the clients entire technology stack. The general schedule is M-F ~8:00am to 5:00pm (Eastern time zone) with a one-hour lunch. After-hours and weekend work rarely occurs but is sometimes necessary.
Experience:
*1+ yrs of experience supporting users in a helpdesk role is a must
*1+ yrs of experience in an IT administration / systems administration role is a plus
*Salary dependent on experience
Qualifications:
People skills: this is the number one requirement. You must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Polish: you must present yourself very well. You will be representing our company and on-site with our client every day. Please be able to write and speak clearly and concisely.
Initiative: you must be a self-starter that is capable of managing a task list and be able to identify new items that need to be completed.
Multitasker: you will be required to track multiple items at once (tickets, projects, etc.). Please be comfortable switching gears as necessary.
Other: a satisfactory background check is required. You must also possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history. Occasionally, you may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
Bonus: Experience working in an legal environment; industry standard IT certifications (A+, N+, Microsoft-based, etc.)
