Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and focused IT Desktop Technician to join our IT team. As an IT Desktop Technician, you will be the first point of contact for our employees and play a vital role in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the uninterrupted operation of our IT systems and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to employee inquiries and incidents in a timely and professional manner
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of interactions and issue resolutions
• Install, configure, and update software applications, as well as assist with system updates
• Assist in setting up new user accounts, permissions, and access to various systems
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve support processes and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to enhance your knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Previous experience in IT support role is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and hardware components
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and IT ticketing systems
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar are a bonus
