We are looking for a part time position that could lead into a full time position.
We are looking to add an entry to mid-level network, server and workstation technician to our team. Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, triaging and working active support tickets for a variety of clients
- Resolving technical issues remotely if possible, but traveling on-site as needed
- Working on-site at a client's office as needed
- Working at our San Jose office location the remainder of the week
- Contributing to project work (new firewalls, switches, servers, etc.)
- Providing superior customer service at all times
- Educating clients about technical problems and solutions when appropriate
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and direction of the company
You must be able to do all of the following tasks with minimal assistance in order to be eligible for this position:
- Effectively communicate with clients to identify the symptoms and root cause of a problem
- For issues which will take time to resolve, identify and implement workarounds for users with immediate critical needs
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients and company management to identify the status of ongoing issues
- Install, configure and test network equipment used in an SMB setting, including firewalls, switches and wireless access points
- Install, configure and test server equipment used in an SMB setting
- Install, configure and test Windows desktop equipment used in an SMB setting

An Associate's Degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience is required.
