Key Responsibilities
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer systems, peripherals, and other technical equipment. This role involves ensuring that all returned equipment is in good working condition and conducting thorough testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in networking and will be required to provide both remote and in-person technical support to our team members:
- Oversee and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and other technical equipment.
- Test and verify the functionality of returned equipment.
- Provision computers and set up workstations for new employees.
- Provide on-site and remote assistance for workstation issues and technical troubleshooting.
- Assist employees with technical issues and apply troubleshooting techniques both remotely and on-site when necessary.

Requirements
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and networking.
- Effective problem-solving skills for technical issues.
- Strong communication abilities for clear and efficient remote and in-person support.
- Availability to travel to the office for on-site tasks as needed.
- Team-oriented attitude with collaborative skills.
- Relevant certifications in IT support or networking
- Experience with both Windows and Mac
- Experience with RMM’s and troubleshooting computer issues remotely.
Additional experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Web development in PHP and Javascript - work on our client-facing marketing websites, a core element to the success of the company.
- SEO - Assist marketing with ensuring that our website remains a helpful resource for potential clients, and that we are easily found by those who need our services.
- Building data pipelines with Python and SQL - contribute to our data pipeline, which is responsible for extracting and modeling data that is used across all departments. Use tools such as Fivetran and GCP
- Tableau and Data Analysis - Put the data we collect to good use through analysis, and provide meaningful insights that contribute to the success of each department.

TorkLaw is a multi-state employer, as such, any salary range provided may not be applicable in all states. Any offer made to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include years of experience, education, location, etc.
