About the Position
Parents Anonymous® Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented IT Specialist. Under the supervision of IT Specialist Supervisor, you will assist in the daily operational activities for the office and technology helpdesk and provide technical assistance to Parents Anonymous employees.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform and implement daily operational activities in the office and technology helpdesk and technical assistance, quality assurance, and data support.
- Assist with the development and implementation of National Database of Resources for National Parent and Youth Helpline.
- Monitor/Complete new and assigned Work Orders via Ticketing System (ZenDesk)
- Provide technical assistance and support to staff on the operation of Windows personal computers.
- Utilize remote control work to assist others (Zoom screen Share control)
- Monitor and assist with troubleshooting various end-user technical (Hardware/Software) issues during on-call and scheduled hours.
- Accomplish all assigned and tracked tasks/goals, including maintaining, tracking, and updating spreadsheets for equipment inventory and software deployments.
- Attend weekly/monthly team Zoom calls regarding goal updates of team/organization.
- Update existing files, and database resources to allow optimal use of IT equipment and software.
- Prepare accurate documentation and communicate effectively to facilitate the elimination of problems/roadblocks as they occur and create efficient fixes.
- Gather and update necessary information and communicate with appropriate parties.
- Ensure proper maintenance and updating of Knowledge Database for Systems.
- The ability to interpret analytical data and place the information onto excel spreadsheets.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- 5 years of IT experience preferred.
- Troubleshooting Experience Recommended
- Prior Experience with Work Order Ticketing System (ZenDesk) Recommended
- Prior Experience building and maintaining of Database Resources
- Prior Remote Work Experience Recommended
- Stable high-speed internet connection (Required)
- Self-sufficient with reliability to accomplish all communicated tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills while working with staff and at all levels of management.
- Organized, detail-oriented the ability to meet deadlines and follow through on work assignment.
- Covid-19 Vaccine and Booster Required.
- Must have reliable transportation and report to Claremont or Pomona office when needed.
- Availability to work Overnight/On-call hours as scheduled
- The ability to work additional days as required.
