Overview:

Innovative Solutions Support located in Exton, PA. Innovative Solutions & Support (IS&S) is a diversified international avionics supplier to civil, military, business, and commercial markets and operators. IS&S manufactures a broad range of RVSM compliant Air Data Systems, Flat Panel Display Systems, Fuel quantity and flow measurement and Engine Hydraulic displays.

Required Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, 10, XP, Linux operating systems
  • Office 365 administration including creating and maintaining user accounts
  • Active Directory experience including creating and maintaining users and workgroups
  • Familiarity with creating Mapped network drives and granting/limiting network access
  • Experience with Windows Server Administration and Vmware (Physical and Virtual Server experience)
  • Administrator knowledge of license server setup and deployment
  • VPN configuration setup, deployment, and support of resources working remote
  • Cybersecurity policy configuration and maintenance including Virus protections and Firewall
  • Familiarity with DHCP
  • Install, configure, and maintain the organization's server, network and desktop hardware, software and applications (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail systems, internet access, office systems, and applications support).
  • Manage performance and maintains security of LANS.
  • Monitor various internal network connections to ensure availability to system users. Diagnose and repair problems as identified.
  • Continually evaluates operating practices to determine if controls and security measures are adequate.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with regard to the organization’s servers and PCs. Identify problems, troubleshoot, and provide advice to assist users and if necessary coordinate with other Departments to resolve problems when necessary.
  • Maintain the disaster recovery software for the company’s information systems by reviewing and applying any new software version releases as appropriate.
  • Administer security measures to restrict unauthorized use of data systems and databases.
  • Familiarity with PC setup and deployment
  • Assist with technology investigation through ongoing research of new equipment and/or software.
  • Generate and submit requisitions for technology-related equipment and licensing.
  • Able to articulate technical issues and ideas to people at all levels of technical understanding.

Other Desirable Experience:

  • Experience with Sharepoint and Sharepoint 365
  • Familiarity with PowerApps Canvas
  • Familiarity with On-Site Premises Gateway
  • Familiarity with SQL-Server connections
  • Familiarity with Linux Redhat servers

Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Information Systems discipline or an equivalent contribution of education and experience
  • Three to five years of customer service or support experience and knowledge of customer-service techniques and procedures
  • Strong clerical skills and excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Knowledge of the Windows and Mac operating environment, Office and basic computer-related hardware/software knowledge

Physical Requirements

  • This role includes regular walking, bending, and sitting as well the ability to operate a computer and production equipment.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be capable of reading letters, numbers and symbols in fonts even smaller than 8-point.
