Community Nursing Services, "CNS," is looking for an IT/IS Support Specialist to join the team in the greater SLC area.
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Normal Business Hours (3-4 days in-office, 1-2 days remote)
Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour

Position Overview: As an IT/IS Support Specialist at CNS, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our information technology systems and providing technical support to our staff. This position offers the opportunity to work both in-office and remotely, providing flexibility and balance to your work life.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to CNS staff for computer systems, software, hardware, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networking equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, virus scans, and system backups.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new computers, printers, and other IT equipment for staff members.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.
- Document technical procedures and create user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance IT support services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity software.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Experience with remote support tools and techniques.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
