We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Specialistto join us! As the ideal candidate, you should have a passion for technology and a desire to provide exceptional customer service. This role will involve assisting users with technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and helping to maintain our IT infrastructure. - Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network issues across the Gabb organization.
- Assist new hires and current users with setting up new devices, desk stations, and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for team members in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and proactively implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using Jira.
- Assist with the maintenance and upgrading of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Research and stay up-to-date with technological developments and trends.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting principles.
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with various types of people in the workplace.
- Integrity, strong work ethic and security awareness.
- Prior experience in IT support or a related field is a plus.
