The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing Tier I Service Desk support for a nationally distributed workforce of financial services professionals.
As a member of the IT Operations & Infrastructure team, this role is essential in ensuring the productivity and success of our staff, assisting with business applications, hardware diagnostic support, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Successful candidates work well on a focused team of professionals, are detailed and quality-focused, communicate clearly, and generally enjoy being helpful.
Major Responsibilities:
- Directly assist professional staff with computer and application issues
- Identify patterns of support requests which may be indicative of systemic issues
- Clearly communicate and document each support request
- Participate in technology program rollouts, such as when new services and applications become available
- Assist with training and implementation for new processes and technology innovations
- Onboarding new hired employees
Minimum Requirements:
- Project management experience
- Experience working in the financial services industry
- Experience supporting non-technical staff with technical issues.
- Experience supporting a MAC environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- ITIL Foundations Certifications
- Confidence supporting Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, Adobe Acrobat, and other common office applications
- Ability to work multiple concurrent issues using a ticket management system
