We are currently seeking an IT Support Specialist for a hybrid role based in our Irvington, NY office and your home office, with occasional travel as needed. This position is integral to providing basic troubleshooting support for all IT/AV related issues, responding to inquiries, and resolving or escalating them to the IT Manager.
Specifically, you will:
- Answer level 1 troubleshooting questions and delegate out-of-scope requests to the IT Manager
- Provide basic troubleshooting for
- Hardware issues
- Microsoft Office applications
- SharePoint/OneDrive
- Password resets o Factory resetting or imaging computers
- Set up and distribute laptops and iPads
- Assist with extra deployment support at Greenhouses as required
- Diagnose IT hardware issues via in-person, Slack, or phone
- Manage shipping of replacement hardware and handle warranty claims
- Oversee inventory management for IT equipment, including logs and equipment refurbishment
- Support corporate meetings with necessary IT infrastructure
- Monitor ticket system to prioritize and delegate requests
- Facilitate the IT portion of new hire orientations
- Basic Network Infrastructure Management
- Oversee and maintain basic network infrastructure, ensuring stable and secure network operations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network issues, including wireless access points, routers, and switches
- Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades.
- CompTIA A+ Certification Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite, including Teams, Azure Active Directory User Management, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune/Endpoint Manager
- Proficiency in Slack and the ability to learn RMM & Ticketing Software
- Basic experience with JAMF Cloud MDM for Apple devices and A/V systems corporate support
- Basic experience with network infrastructure management
- 2 years+ from MSP (Managed Service Providers), Corporate companies with more than 175+ employees
