About the Role
GoodRx is looking for an individual who lives and breathes technology to augment our IT Helpdesk and provide support to our organization with offices across the U.S. This individual must demonstrate a good balance of technical knowledge - hardware and software - and the ability to educate and empower our diverse team.
This role will report to the IT Manager and will be responsible for ensuring we have the systems, practices, and tools in place to service the team and continue to make GoodRx a great place to work. If you have a passion for delivering timely and personal tier-one support, while maintaining a desire to learn and grow, GoodRx is the place for you. Please note this is a hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with the expectation of being on-site 3-4 days/week.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the IT team to provide day-to-day technical support to 600+ employees (80% Mac and 20% Windows environment) as well as independent contractors in the healthcare space.
  • Assist end users with routine technical requests and requirements, and document processes used to resolve issues.
  • Tier one support for software and hardware issues, VoIP office phones, printers, internet access, etc.
  • Take ownership of client issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Assist in the maintenance of hardware and software inventory.
  • Assist the IT staff and HR department with a smooth user onboarding/offboarding process.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the IT Director and IT/Security staff.
  • Constantly learn new things-and share them with your team members.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years' experience providing IT support or degree in a related field.
  • IT Certifications in related fields are a plus.
  • Strong desire to learn new technology and skills to grow professionally with the company.
  • Strong customer service, time management and problem solving skills.
  • Experience with remote device management, support tools, and software deployment (e.g. Jamf, Intune, Airwatch etc.).
  • Excellent understanding of computer hardware, operating system functions, and components.
  • macOS and Windows software troubleshooting and configuration skills.
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of Google Workspace, MS Office, and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with JIRA, Slack, DropBox, Asana, Cisco, Palo Alto, or HP Aruba.
  • Strong interpersonal and positive teamwork skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Advanced Audio/Video background (BlackMagic, QSC, Corio, etc...) in a production environment is a plus.
  • Should be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods.

At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. San Francisco Office:
$30.77 - $46.16
New York and Seattle Offices:
$27.89 - $42.31
Santa Monica Office:
$25.49 - $38.47
Other Office Locations:
$23.08 - $34.62
