As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented IT Support Engineer to join us in providing top-tier desktop support and contributing to our ongoing success.


As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional technical support to our clients, focusing primarily on desktop infrastructure while also engaging in various other IT support tasks. You will work closely with our clients to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of their IT systems. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our team of experts to implement innovative solutions and contribute to the enhancement of our service offerings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Desktop Support:** Provide timely and effective troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Remote Assistance:** Utilize remote support tools to diagnose and resolve technical problems, delivering efficient solutions to clients regardless of location.
  • System Administration:** Assist in the management and maintenance of client IT systems, including user account management, software updates, and system configurations.
  • Network Troubleshooting:** Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot network connectivity issues, ensuring reliable communication and optimal performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain detailed records of support activities, documenting resolutions, and producing comprehensive reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service:** Provide exceptional customer service, building positive relationships with clients and serving as a trusted advisor on technical matters.
  • Technology Implementation:** Participate in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and meeting client requirements.
  • Security Compliance:** Adhere to established security protocols and best practices, assisting in the implementation of security measures to protect client data and mitigate cybersecurity risks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical role, preferably in an MSP or MSSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as common productivity software applications.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware components such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Proficiency in utilizing remote support tools and diagnostic utilities to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
  • Detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
