We're looking for a IT Specialist to join our team!Level III Responsibilities:* - Meet with stakeholders regularly to gather high level requirements and translate them into detail technical requirements. Use JIRA to document requirements and track issues.* - Design frontend user interface using mockup and wireframe, perform design review with stakeholders.* - Develop and maintain software through all phases of the software development lifecycle.* - Problem analysis and evaluation in support of administrative operations and user input.* - Manage software versions using version control software.

We use GitLab as our source code repository.* - Perform code reviews.* - Perform UI testing, integration testing and system testing.Level IV Responsibilities:* - Design frontend user interface using mockup and wireframe, perform design review with stakeholders.* - Develop and maintain software through all phases of the software development lifecycle.* - Problem analysis and evaluation in support of administrative operations and user input.* - Design database tables to capture necessary data elements for applications.* - Manage software versions using version control software. Specialized experience is defined as experience in developing UI for web-based applications. Translates design mockups & wireframes into code for web-based application UI.

Designs prototypes; writes & tests code for new or existing applications. Has knowledge of commonly used frontend languages & frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, React JS and/or Angular. Experience in relational databases, SQL & PL/SQL.OR3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D.

or equivalent doctoral degree.ORPh.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.ANDIn addition to the basic requirements for ZP IV,Applicants must also have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 (ZP-III at NIST) level. Specialized experience is defined as experience in developing UI for web-based applications.

Translates design mockups & wireframes into code for web-based application UI. Designs prototypes; writes & tests code for new or existing applications. Supports backend integration & maintains graphic standards & branding throughout the UI.

Has knowledge of commonly used frontend languages & frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, React JS and/or Angular. Experience in: Java or Ruby, backend frameworks such as Spring Boot or Ruby on Rails, relational databases, SQL & PL/SQL. Experience with Amazon Web Services.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done.
