It Security Systems Administrator

ITOCHU Building Products (IBP)Holdings has an immediate need for an IT Security Systems Administator at our Dallas corporate office.

The IBP Team is seeking to build a team of system administrators who can perform multiple functions. We understand that people have specialties, but seek people open to cross training and willing to apply their skills in multiple areas.

The IT Security Systems Administrator is one member of our system administration team that is responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of our IT systems hardware and software. This position’s primary focus will be on vulnerability remediation, patch management and operational security tasks.  The IT Security Systems Administrator will directly report to the IT Manager as well as work under the direction of the IT Systems Security Specialist.

• Accountable for patches across Windows server and Windows workstation environment using SCCM.
• Improve existing procedures for patch management across all Windows infrastructure, including patch evaluation, severity ranking, risk analysis, prioritization, deployment, follow-up, and issue remediation.
• Assist in the creation and management of deployment objects for new and existing software using SCCM.
• Review patching progress using SCCM, Tenable.io and other tools.
• Verification of security vulnerabilities and patches as well as performing deep dive and impact analysis into failed patch deployments.
• Provide Tier II & III support and project assistance as required.
• Assist with the repair and recovery from hardware or software failures.
• Support/troubleshoot server and application issues and coordinate with vendors as needed for resolution.
• Communicate system issues to other IT team members and management.
• Administration and Monitoring of zScaler Web Security including managing URL access and incident response.
• Assist in the administration and monitoring of email security (Mimecast) including managed sender management, held messages/attachment management, mail gateway policy management.
• Administration and monitoring of Endpoint Security (SentinelOne).
• SIEM (SumoLogic) notification evaluation /response.

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years prior relevant experience OR 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Industry certification such as MCSE or Qualified work experience
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows 2016+ Server operating systems
• 2+ years administrating Active Directory and related services
• 2+ years administrating Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM), experience with Intune a plus
• Strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network and Security Systems
• Strong network analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle and own critical issues through to resolution
• Excellent communication, and customer service skills
• Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of conducting business
