What You'll DoYou will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and maintaining security policies and procedures that support our clients' security objectives. You will work closely with our leadership, internal teams, and our security experts to evaluate existing policies, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to enhance security posture. You will help to educate our associates on our policies, IT security best practices and how to safeguard against ever-changing social engineering attacks. You will work closely with our Internal Vendor Management program to ensure vendor compliance with SOC2, SIO 27001 and other industry standards, among other duties. What you'll bring:
• An Associate's degree in a related field along with at least 5 years' experience working in IT security, policy development, or governance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and best practices related to IT security, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to information security and data protection.
• Must be able to comply with the OPERS Personal Trading Policy
What we hope you'll bring:
• A Bachelor's degree in related along with at least 2 years of hands-on, practical experience in one or more security domains, e.g., Application, Cloud, Network, Project management experience Web and database application programming experience
• CISSP or CISM designation
• CompTIA Security certification
