Steelscape, LLC is a national supplier of metallic-coated and pre-painted steel. Steelscape's facilities, located in Kalama, Washington; and Rancho Cucamonga, California are strategically located near major truck, ship and rail routes to service the Western U.S. market.
ASC Profiles LLC is the leading manufacturer of steel roof and wall products and structural roof and floor deck in the Western U.S., servicing customers from six locations. ASC Profiles services various segments of the steel construction industry through its three divisions, AEP Span, ASC Steel Deck and ASC Building Products.
Job Description
Primary Purpose & Value of the Department & Position
The Information Systems Team is committed to providing ASC and Steelscape with secure, reliable and responsive IT services. The department uses a combination of technical expertise, timely action, and customer service to allow the business to operate efficiently. Operational effectiveness is supported by team members following system standards that produce the quality of work required to support back office applications.
The Security Analyst plays a vital role in keeping our organization's proprietary and sensitive information secure. This position works inter-departmentally to identify and correct flaws in the company's security systems, solutions, and programs while recommending specific measures that can improve the company's overall security posture.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Working with other IT members to coordinate systems, devices and applications updating/patching to remediate open vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of corporate's security initiatives within our business unit.
- Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
- Maintain and implements security exemption processes for vulnerability remediation, systems or solutions not in compliance with security policies or standards.
- Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Qualifications
Minimum
- Associate degree in Information Systems or equivalent OR (2) years of experience supporting and troubleshooting computer systems, networking, or cyber security related role.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security field.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent OR (4) years of experience supporting and troubleshooting computer systems, networking, or cyber security related role.
- Information Security qualifications such as CEH, CASP, CCSP, CISSP or CISA or equivalent certifications.
