We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering IT Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Agile methodologies within our engineering IT projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and IT, as well as substantial experience in both Agile and waterfall project management techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile processes, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements:
- Strong background in engineering and IT, with a awareness of how product engineering works
- Solid knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Agile project management tools and software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar Agile certifications highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a ScrumMaster or Agile Project Manager, preferably within an engineering or IT context is also highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the main point of contact for project-related communication with stakeholders and requestors.
- Work with requestors to convert new requests into a project initiation A3
- Foster collaboration and effective teamwork among engineers, IT specialists, and other stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and changes.
- Project Portfolio Management:
- Collaborate with the IT Product Owner to maintain a portfolio of projects using the principles of demand management, agile WIP controls, and a structured and visible project prioritization approach.
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the project team to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report project progress, addressing any issues or risks proactively.
- Remove any obstacles or impediments that are inhibiting progress or impacting team performance.
- Maintain project budget and resource tracking.
- Agile projects: Facilitate Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).
