In this position, you will serve as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and primary advisor to the Director on all technical, technology, software and system engineering matters within the Software Factory. Develop and implement Software Factory and Army policy in CTO specific areas, while providing guidance on technical missions and objectives. Develop strategies to lead the development of software engineering, data engineering, data science, advanced optimization and learning systems.
Job Duties/ResponsibilitiesTo qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below:
Specialized Experience for GS-14: One year of specialized experience which includes: Developing and managing technical strategies to support cybersecurity and technology posture from infrastructure to platform to application layers; Developing strategies to lead the development of software engineering, data engineering, data science, advanced optimization and learning systems; AND/OR Managing technology innovations such as, artificial intelligence, software development, cloud computing, and digital services.
