Job Summary
As a Medline Logistics IT Operation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the organization's IT operations related to warehouse distribution. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of IT professionals, to ensure overall system availability and immediate response to technology issues in Medline distribution centers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
Manage a team responsible for 24x7 IT support for Medline distribution centers. The focus of the team is to ensure orders are processed and shipped timely and consistent.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging skill development and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business partners and internal IT teams to identify and resolve system defects.
Ensure consistency in procedures and processes for US and offshore teams.
Continually work to identify inefficiencies and provide process improvements.
Managing escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Ensuring that all processes used by the operations team are thoroughly documented, consistently audited, and regularly improved.
Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of IT operations.

Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent in training and experience
Work Experience
Strong experience of at least 3 years in managing support for a complex business/technical landscape with established ERP products like SAP or Oracle Apps, and demanding high availability over a 24x7x365
Skills
Strong technical knowledge of IT systems in relation to warehouse distribution, transportation, and automation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Demonstrated ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manager multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
