As a Warehouse Receiving Associate you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the receipt, inspection, and distribution of incoming medical equipment and supplies. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of medical equipment and supplies.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure that received items meet quality standards and specifications.
- Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or defects in received goods.
- Accurately record and update inventory levels in the system.
- Assist in maintaining organized and efficient warehouse storage for medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the inventory control team to conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement and adhere to proper handling procedures for sensitive medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of received shipments, inspections, and inventory transactions.
- Generate and update reports as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to shipments.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates, logistics coordinators, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards related to medical equipment handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
