The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the technical architecture and design, capacity planning/management, technology implementations, server and storage performance for all of Brown County managed servers and storage as well as Cloud related services. This position will also serve as the technical expert for complex projects across a multi-site environment. There will be expectations of setting standards, reviewing monthly results, and holding teams accountable to achieve increased capabilities within Brown County. The position will have direct reports with technical backgrounds and will be responsible for leading them to better support the products. The Manager provides technical consulting to program leadership, business stakeholders, and delivery teams, and provides insight and forecasted needs from a sourcing perspective.
Plans, directs and administers the ongoing operations of the Information Technology Department. Provides ongoing measurement of appropriate employee productivity and workload to ensure departmental efficiency and timely completion of projects.
Be Security driven with all implementations following best practices and adhering to the following compliances; HIPPA, CJIS, PCI
Support customers with day-to-day operations and support in Incidents and Tasks.
Assist in facilitating discussions with customers around Operational Recovery and Disaster Recovery.
Be the technology infrastructure expert for the agency and lead, train and develop the skills of the infrastructure team members
Develop and maintain the strategic priorities for the team, identify most critical areas of investment and strengthen the team's capabilities.
Lead a culture of automation and operational excellence across the team, including the infrastructure to help the team manage their operation workload while limiting overhead.
Recruit new team members and enable coaching and growth across the team to develop the skill sets of team members.
Be well versed in operational capabilities, metrics and best practices.

Experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise/cloud)
Design, implement, configure, install, and support a technical infrastructure, including but not limited to:
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft security services
- Microsoft Azure
- SQL Server / Oracle
- Firewall maintenance
- Citrix / VPN
- VMware
- storage and servers
- Storage solutions
- Server solutions
- Mobility solutions
- Connectivity solutions
Define and implement appropriate procedures, controls, and service levels as they relate to infrastructure services
Responsible for the creation and execution of roadmaps outlining the investments in infrastructure, mobility strategies, storage strategies, and connectivity that will enable Brown County's strategic and business continuity plans
Manage business continuity and disaster recovery solutions and all remote capabilities
Perform hands-on troubleshooting as necessary
Coordinate training of staff for new technology infrastructure offerings
Provide along with staff on-call off-hours support
Manage the on-going improvement of the technology infrastructure
Ensure all infrastructure is supported according to their SLAs
Manage the full lifecycle management of IT equipment
Coordinate with third party vendors to resolve issues with vendor systems or software
Support other technology staff with front office systems
Manage the quality process for IT projects using the Global IT methodology and various IT project management tools and techniques.
With the assistance of the global purchasing team, manage all procurement of products or services as required for IT projects using the Global IT methodology and IT project management tool and techniques.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Infrastructure/Networking or related field
Minimum of 8-10 years experience.
Project management experience and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid Driver's License required.
Applicable Microsoft certification(s) preferred
Fingerprint/background clearance required.
Applicable CISCO certifications preferred.
A strong understanding of server, storage, network and desktop hardware and software solutions
Strong general security and risk mitigation knowledge
Knowledgeable about security topics across multiple technical disciplines
Azure/Office365 security experience
Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
Project planning and management skills
Proficiency in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic use of IT staff
Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organizational skills

Experience managing O365 and enterprise products (SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online, etc.)
Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and tools.
