etrailer.com is seeking to hire an IT Help Desk Tier 1 to work Full-Time with benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k). Your schedule would be Monday-Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm and can also vary based on the needs of the business. Work at our Wentzville, MO location. Be available for rotating, on-call shifts to respond to tickets submitted after business hours on time.

As the IT Help Desk Tier 1 your responsibility will be to help etrailer.com employees resolve computer hardware and software issues. The IT Help Desk Tier 1 will install computer hardware and software, update applications, troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance on desktops, laptops, iPads and thin clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting internal teams with technical support.
- Answer incoming tickets/emails/phone calls, clearly documenting all progress in ticket notes.
- Monitor ticket system for new and ongoing issues.
- Communicate the status of issues regularly, clearly, and efficiently.
- Solve technical tickets, documenting attempted and successful troubleshooting.
- Triage tickets and assign resources to them, carefully escalating to other resources.
Qualifications:
- Experience with hardware virtualization / Virtual Desktop Environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with others.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical documentation skills
- Customer-Focused Personality.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in IT-related fields are a plus.
- I.T. experience in a professional, technical, or customer support environment, supporting hardware and software; through phone, remote, and desk side support is desired.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Perform essential duties satisfactorily.
