Position Announcement:
We are searching for an problem-tackling IT professional who desires the challenge of working in a fast paced, dynamic industry. The IT Specialist is responsible for providing end-user support for the Microsoft Windows desktop environment by managing internal helpdesk requests, analyzing user support needs, resolving problems, and installing hardware and software solutions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide response to telephone calls, email, in-person, and other requests for technical support.
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
- Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.
- Assist in the administration and support of the Company's PCs, printers, cell phones, and related equipment.
- Assist with PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software.
- Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory.
- Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
- Assist with maintaining inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
- Report issues to the Senior staff for escalation.
- Document internal procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, TCP/IP networking, various software applications and current PC hardware.
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
- Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant technical experience
- LogMeIn and Apple iOS experience a plus
Position Details:
- Reports to the IT Director
- Position is in-person and located at PayneCrest Electric St. Louis office in Olivette, MO
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours/ week
