Job Description
We are seeking an IT Field Service Technician to join our team and grow! You will resolve computer-related issues for our clients. Please note this position will initially be part-time for your first 60 days or longer if deemed necessary by our business. Please in addition we are hiring you with the understanding you will be able to work more then part-time after the probationary period is over. Typical probationary time will be 60-90 days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with Computers, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and Networks
- Resolve issues for clients primarily in person, phone or electronically
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Reliable transportation (you will work 90% onsite with clients)
- Time Tracking and Breaks (you will be required to take breaks and lunch)
- Submitting Weekly Timecard Online
- Continuing Education by obtaining additional Certifications
- Obtain 1 additional Microsoft Certification within 60 days of hire, obtain 4 annually (Paid Training Materials and Exam Fees Provided by Company) + every completed Microsoft certification will get a raise!
Qualifications:
- Microsoft 10/11 Professional Experience
- Microsoft 365 Cloud Experience
- Networking (Firewalls, Routers, switches and Wi-Fi)
- Lots of Microsoft Office Desktop Suite Experience
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
- Helpdesk / Ticket System Experience
- Attention to detail note orientated ticket and knowledge base management
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
