Job Title: IT Cyber Analyst - Advisory [MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Job Location: Milford, OH Job Type: Full Time Duties: Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to safeguard internal information systems and applications from security threats. Lead monitoring, respond to incidents, report security incidents, and carry out remediation.
Assess, plan, and enact security measures to help protect the organization from security breaches and attacks on its computer networks and systems. Research, recommend, and implement changes to enhance systems security. Design and develop tools and automate by creating workflows, security profiles and correlation logic.
Educate and communicate security requirements and procedures to all users and new employees. Participate in the identification and selection of new security technologies, partners, vendors and third party service or solutions providers in the IT Security sector. Focus on increased automation and optimization to drive efficiency.
Requirements: The employer will accept a Bachelor's Degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in an Engineer/Analyst related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: Operating systems, system services, events and logs, hardware and software and application configuration; Working with Linux/Unix operating system; Working with advanced networking concepts, network security, network firewalls (NSX), web services and web security; Working with security and administration of infrastructure technologies such as Virtualization, Storage, Storage Networks, and Databases; Security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security; Working with development processes such as CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment); Security technologies including AV, Malware Protection, IDS/IPS, Exploit Techniques, Social Engineering, Data Loss Prevention, Exfiltration, Threat Detection and Response, and Vulnerability Management; Industry security frameworks and best practices including ISO27001/27002, NIST800, SOC-2, and CMMC; Asset Classification and Protection (ACP), Security Measure Plans, Multifactor Authentication Technologies, and Remote Access Technologies. 5% domestic and international travel is required.
