The IT Control Operations Manager will support the successful design, implementation, and execution of the IT Controls Automation program including the automation of control execution.
- Perform control testing of Automated IT Controls prior to Implementation
- Partner with business and IT senior management to influence Equitable' s strategic risk and control program
- Assist in the successful design, implementation, and execution of IT processes and controls to meet current and future IT control objectives
- Manage the successful remediation and ongoing monitoring of IT control issues across key applications, databases, and infrastructure
- Liaise between process and control owners and internal and external auditors to ensure alignment on SOX 404 compliance requirements
- Partner with the SOX Program Management Office to ensure efficient and effective execution of the SOX 404 program
- Contribute to the successful delivery of multiple complex programs according to measures of time, budget, scope, quality and relationship
- Learn about innovative solutions based on new and emerging technologies to improve overall IT efficiency and effectiveness
The base salary range for this position is $67,000 - $100,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of related audit or controls experience with public accounting or IT consulting experience preferred
- Bachelor of science degree in Accounting, Information Security, Information Technology or Cybersecurity
- Experience with SOX 404 audit engagements including ITGC, ITDC and business process controls
- Experience with applying appropriate control frameworks (COSO, COBIT etc.)
- Experience in testing IT controls

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal/ relationship management skills, ability to foster working relationships within their team, across IT and with business colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting deadlines and priorities under limited supervision

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
Data Gathering and Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques and processes; ability to gather and analyze data on the learning needs of a target population
Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
