The Business Services Systems Analyst will actively collaborate with business units, clinical staff, and technical teams to develop, customize, and optimize the utilization of the Netsmart MyEVOLV platform in alignment with the organization’s operational and clinical objectives. This individual will be instrumental in translating user requirements and issues into actionable specifications and solutions, ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with cybersecurity risk management policies, the NIST framework, and HIPAA regulations. By generating and maintaining custom reports and ensuring effective communication between all stakeholders, the analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing the delivery of youth services. Through continuous professional development, they will ensure that the agency remains at the forefront of technological advancements in Business Intelligence and healthcare service delivery.

Job Responsibilities 

• Work with business units to create specifications documents for reports, system enhancements, and other information services technology projects.
• Liaison between business users, technical personnel, and vendors.
• Client services resolution through reviews, analysis, escalation, and documenting issues for assigned Business Services.
• Create business requirements documents.
• Assess business processes to find business process improvement activities.
• Write process documents for business area end users.
• Document technical systems and processes.
• Assess proposed technical solutions for conformance to specifications and business needs.
• Create test cases relevant to technical solutions.
• Assess results of test cases and track identified defects with technical personnel
• Customize, troubleshoot, and optimize the Netsmart MyEVOLV platform based on user input and business requirements.
• Generate and maintain custom reports within the MyEVOLV system to support clinical operations and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with clinical staff to understand and support their data and reporting needs.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with HIPAA and NIST framework, especially in the customization and usage of the Netsmart MyEVOLV platform.
• Create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
• Actively pursue professional growth opportunities and certifications in Netsmart MyEVOLV, Business Intelligence, and other relevant technologies.
• Effective Communication Skills; Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates strong analytical problem-solving ability.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and support clinical work and healthcare delivery.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus three [3] three or more years working in a business analyst role or managing/coordinating information technology projects. 
• Bachelor’s degree requirement may be waived if for candidates with 6+ years in a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree requirement may be waived for candidates with relevant industry certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience with Netsmart MyEVOLV
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working for a Youth Services organization.
• The preferred candidate will have experience with SQL queries and creating business intelligence dashboards and reports with Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience evaluating or authoring technical specifications or requirements documents.
• Actively pursue professional growth opportunities and certifications in Technology.
