Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Identify and request appropriate operational resources to perform and/or facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in partnership with the GuidingCare product team, Hennepin Health analytics team, and other Hennepin Health teams requiring UAT support.
• Drive the identification, documentation, and communication of activities to support Hennepin Health teams on this project.
• Partner with Hennepin Health IT and Integrations teams to ensure alignment to processes and systems.
• Collaborate with key partners to prioritize the backlog of Hennepin Health cross-departmental initiatives to design new workflows and analytic assets.
• Ensure optimal subject matter expertise participation for cross-functional projects, workgroups, and committees.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
• Phase 2 Planning:

1. Perform SME interviews.
2. Gap analysis (Enhancements coming out of testing)
3. Perform impact analysis.
4. Prioritization of the proposed scope
5. Governance development

• Faxing Integration:

1. Document new API fax process E2E
2. Work with Central IT Fax Services to capture Requirements.
3. Draft funding request if required.
4. Work with HC Enterprise Architect for County approval

• Case Management:

1. Work with Define requirements for Surveys & Assessments (~ 30)
2. Advocacy Integration & Access to 3rd party tools to support services.

• Finance (Risk Management):

1. Capture requirements for a Risk Management solution
2. Document As Is workflow and integration with other processes.
3. Evaluation of OOB reporting to determine improvement opportunities

• Restricted Recipients:

1. Evaluation of process improvement activities to reduce manual touch-points.
2. Review & refinement of processes with UM & Pop Health

• Transportation:

1. Capture Improvement & Feature enhancements during testing
2. Document reconciliation process for support, process improvement/automation
3. Document Defect Management process (loss process)
4. Develop SOPs for Customer Support
5. Update Transportation provider communications

• FACETS/Authorization Optimization:

1. Collaboration with Cognizant on new Claims process project
2. Document new workflow
3. Capture requirements for changes to feeds, integration and cross-walks

• Quality Measures:

1. Workflow optimization of Campaign Management activities
2. Program Development Documentation & Workflow

• Population Health:

1. Work with data scientists to determine critical system data requirements.
2. Capture Stakeholder impacts (support outreach/Quality and patient engagement activities)

• Authorization Portal (Provider Access):

1. Journey Mapping
2. Interview HH leadership for goals & Objectives for the solution
3. Develop Business Requirements
4. Survey Providers
5. Identify integration touch-points

• Member Engagement Portal:

1. Define requirements & KPIs
2. Administrative cost-saving analysis
3. Touch-point analysis (what operational areas will be impacted by the change, and have new processes)

Mandatory Skills:

• 3 years of experience with operational and/or healthcare industry experience.
• 5 years of experience with defining user and functional requirements, BSA certification or similar credentialing.
• 3 years of experience with Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• 3 years of experience with Familiar with healthcare plan management and case management software
• 3 years of experience with the Ability to present a variety of data elements in graphical and presentation form including experience with pivot tables.
• 5 years of experience with Oversee the analysis and representation of Hennepin Health clinical and business processes, key metrics, and systems.
• 3 years of experience with the Ability to develop flowcharts, and workflow processes using Visio, Smartsheet, Microsoft PowerPoint and Lucid charts.
• 3 years of experience with Proficiency in downloading and manipulating files in Excel.
• 3 years of experience with Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• 3 years of experience with Strong mathematical and analytical skills is essential.
• 3 years of experience with Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and ability to set priorities and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• 3 years of experience with Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• 3 years of experience with the Ability to work in a fast-paced continuously changing environment.
