IT Analyst – Sylmar, CA

Job Summary:

In this exciting and challenging role, you will assist in providing help desk support for employees and external clients nationwide. This includes users, workstations, servers, printers, networks, mobile devices, printers, AV equipment, software, and anything else within our IT responsibilities. Candidates must have excellent documentation skills, be able to follow instructions, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Candidate must be able to remotely support a range of basic to advanced users over the phone, text, video chat and email.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Help desk and on-call support 24/7 including Quixote drivers and rental clients.
  • Day to day user account management, including administering AD, Office 365, Azure
  • Change management for IT operations and Projects.
  • Maintain, update, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer, network, and printing systems/hardware.
  • Provide production support including problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue within ServiceNow.
  • Support and Maintain company IT Inventory systems using ServiceNow.
  • Manage and support multiple VOIP phone systems including cloud and on prem.
  • Manage and support both physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Support employees with both BYOD and company issued mobile phones using Microsoft MDM
  • Cabling for AV, phone, data, security
  • Support and knowledge of our client IT rentals IE: WiFi boxes, printers, phones
  • Maintain help desk SLA's, including resolving escalated cases and creating company wide solutions.
  • Knowledge of Quixote vehicles inside and out. (Start and stop procedures, hardware locations, hardware setup, client expectations)
  • Knowledge of home audio and visual, AV automation, 70 Volt distributed sound.
  • Conduct one on one training sessions with employees.
  • IT green initiatives - e-waste recycling
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 2+ years of experience in Help Desk Support
  • A strong understanding of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
  • A basic understanding of Mac OSX, basic Wi-Fi connectivity troubleshooting, and networking
  • Must be highly detail oriented with a proven commitment to high quality workmanship.
  • Must have excellent, thorough, and methodical problem-solving skills.
  • Must always be able to work with challenging personalities and maintain a professional and positive demeanor with users/clients.
  • Proven leadership and excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of commonly used tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize a constantly changing workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills, including solid presentation skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable mode of transportation, a mobile phone, and a reliable high-speed Internet connection from wherever you live.
  • Must have strong work ethic and ability to work independently with a team.
  • Some travel will be required.
  • Must be able to always maintain a polite and friendly attitude.

Technical Competencies Desired

  • Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and Office 365
  • Desktop operating systems: Windows 7, 8, 10 / OSX
  • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
  • Mobile platforms: IOS, Android
  • ITSM – ServiceNow
  • VoIP telephone systems
  • Mobile networking hardware: Cradlepoint knowledge is a plus.
  • Networking: Cisco and Meraki
  • System hardware: Lenovo, HP, Dell (desktops and laptops)
  • Cat5e, cat6, coax, audio, AV cabling and infrastructure install.
  • Microsoft and Apple certifications are a plus.
  • Possesses or working toward Microsoft Certification, CompTIA A+, Security+, N+ is a plus.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.

Compensation:

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $22.50 - $27.50 per hour.

The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.

Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
