Job description

Our Trade Operations Unit is currently seeking an Investment Officer II to support trade activity and reporting in the Investment Office, and drive our CalPERS mission.
Under the direction of the Associate Investment Manager (AIM), Investment Officer II is the full working level primarily responsible for processing day-to-day trade confirmation, settlement, and reporting. The Investment Officer II will maintain a positive team management approach while demonstrating CalPERS' Core Values of Quality, Respect, Integrity, Openness, Accountability, and Balance in accordance with personal work ethic in alignment with CalPERS Investment Beliefs.
Interview Dates: We anticipate interviews to be held one month from the final file date.
Telework Information : This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Permanent full-time employees who possess certification as a CFA may receive a 5% monthly base pay differential.

  • MBA or possession of an advanced degree in finance or another applicable technical field

  • Knowledge of the various CalPERS Investment Office programs and asset classes
