SalaryThe wealth management division of Shuster Advisory Group, LLC is seeking an Investment Analyst to join our team. Shuster is an established firm looking for new talent that is eager to learn and grow with us. The individual filling the role will be responsible for assisting the firm and its Chief Investment Officer in researching and analyzing a variety of investments, including but not limited to, mutual funds, ETF’s and alternatives, and providing new business support and client service. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, collaborative, and multi-tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform extensive investment research utilizing industry standard technology to analyze investment risk and performance across a variety of sectors.
- Manage and integrate data from a variety of sources into cohesive and comprehensive presentations and reports.
- Prepare reports to evaluate and monitor investment risk, performance, and fees.
- Perform reviews and ongoing monitoring of investment portfolios in accordance with firm policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Respond to client inquiries.
- Draft market commentary and case studies, and market analysis.
- Contribute to periodic market and strategy updates as well as periodic investor updates.
- Provide due diligence support as needed to Chief Investment Officer and retirement services division.
- Monitor account cash balances and systematically managing around additions or distributions from client accounts.
- Monitor taxable accounts for potential tax loss harvest opportunities and recommending trades accordingly.
- Execute trades as necessary to implement investment strategies, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Construction, maintenance, and production of household performance reporting.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Experience and Technical Requirements:
- Advanced MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of investment products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Schwab Advisor Services, Orion, Redtail, Riskalyze and Morningstar Office a plus.
- Series 65 required, CFA a plus.
- Trading experience a plus.
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable and can handle multiple time-sensitive projects with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and frequently with multiple stakeholders.
Salary & Benefits Information
- Compensation range is $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 and commensurate with experience. Compensation may include a combination of base salary and incentive compensation.
