Title:Investment Analyst/Financial Planning Analyst
Location: Pasadena, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Performance and Firm Bonus

Company Overview:
Our client is a Family Office Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) serving (HNW) and (HTI) clients and with offices in Pasadena and Costa Mesa. They cater to families, non-profit organizations, endowments, and foundations, with a focus on clients contributing to Christian organizations.
Role:
The Investment Analyst will report to the Chief Investment Officer, managing firm trading and portfolio management, client engagement, operational support, and investment research.
Responsibilities:
Trader/Portfolio Management:
· Execute trades across the firm, primarily ETFs, Mutual Fund models, T-Bills, and money market funds.
· Rebalance client portfolios quarterly or as directed by the Chief Investment Officer.
· Utilize iRebal or similar systems for trading client model portfolios.
Client Management:
· Respond to client inquiries, providing market updates, account performance information, and implementing service requests.
· Assist clients in maintaining financial planning goals and update plans with changes in circumstances.
· Track client progress towards completion of RMD requirements and proactively communicate with clients.
· Record and input meeting notes and next actions into company CRM during client meetings.
Operations:
· Oversee the Orion database for internal information, client performance reporting, and maintaining compliance.
· Provide backup support for sending quarterly investment reports to clients.
· Assist Chief Compliance Officer in responding to data requests.
· Provide backup support for preparing client documents needed at custodian using DocuSign.
· Assist with money transfer tasks for clients and review custodial alerts.
· Support team with quarterly billing process.
Research and Analysis Reporting:
· Conduct financial market research to maintain understanding of current economic events.
· Perform research in investments, income tax planning, estate planning, and financial markets.
· Prepare reports for client meetings and provide analysis of client performance.
· Recommend new investment offerings and evaluate specific investment opportunities.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher.
· CFP current or actively pursuing enrollment in CFP Board certification program.
· CFA designation, participating in the CFA program, or pursuing.
· 2+ years of relevant work experience.
· Proficiency in using Excel for problem-solving and financial modeling.
· Knowledge of documentation processes, actions, and procedures across client lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in client services with an interest in investments.
· Familiarity with Orion, Morningstar, Advisor Engine, CRM systems.
· Worked with institutional client service team at major custodians.
