Form of workWe are currently seeking an experienced Inventory / Frame & Lens Order Entry Clerk for our fast-paced optical laboratory in Brooklyn Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team!
Job Summary
Responsible for the accurate and timely entry of material orders and product selection for optical laboratory Rx & stock orders.
Duties:
+ Timely and accurate keying of lens and/or frame purchase orders into computer for electronic transmission to vendors.
+ Retrieve product from inventory for Rx / stock processing.
+ Access and interpret reports within software program respective to inventory levels, purchase orders, fill rates, et.al
+ Perform cycle counts and periodic inventory.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications
+ High School diploma, GED or equivalent
+ 2 yrs. work experience commensurate with position requirements
+ Must be highly detail-oriented
+ Ability to meet and maintain deadlines
+ Good organizational and communication skills
+ Basic PC/keyboard skills required
+ General Ophthalmic knowledge preferred, but not required
+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
